There are 3 common styles :

Cat Eye - shortest lashes from inner corner with gradual increase in length until the longest lashes are on the outer corner

Doll Eye - shorter lashes on the inner and outer corners and longest lashes are focused in the centre of the eye

Soft Cat Eye - shortest lashes from inner corner with gradual increase in length until 3/4 of the eye line and then the lashes taper back down in length.
